About the Role As part of the new Partnership and Strategy team, you will play a key role in implementing a new way of engaging our most critical relationships whilst better connecting and collaborating with our partners to strengthen and deliver tangible results.
In this role, you will support the delivery of strategic business objectives by leveraging technology, emerging markets, and optimizing costs.
This role will be a key pillar within the Partnerships and Strategy team, focused on delivering strategic and meaningful partnerships as part of the Global Procurement team mandate.
You'll partner closely with category teams, strategy teams, emerging markets, and decarbonization teams to support influencing our major global relationships and report directly to the Manager of Partnerships.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional looking to expand their business impact and join a diverse and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities: Development of strategic partnerships in accordance with the partnership framework across key material categories Delivery of SRM outcomes to support the business imperatives Drive high-value commercial opportunities Collaborate with Procurement and SMEs to define key strategic objectives and market insights Support delivery of tangible savings through innovative commercial strategies Navigate ambiguity and engage across functions to drive coordinated outcomes This role can be based in any one of the following BHP offices: Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Santiago, or Saskatoon About You Commercial acumen and familiarity with alternative commercial models Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Collaborator who builds alignment across teams and functions Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly capable at influencing stakeholders Some experience with managing global agreements and SRM frameworks is preferred About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
