Support a Senior Community

As a volunteer quiz host, you'll engage with residents at an aged care home in Waratah. This role offers a unique opportunity to foster social connections and improve the lives of older adults.

You will be responsible for setting up a room, assisting with resident interactions, and announcing quiz questions. Your presence can make a significant difference in reducing feelings of isolation and enhancing overall well-being.

We are seeking a committed individual who can dedicate one afternoon per week or fortnight for a minimum of six months. The selected candidate will work closely with our team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all involved.

To be eligible, you must be over 18 years of age and undergo a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare. You will also need to commit to regular visits during Monday to Friday, between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
