Volunteer Telecross Caller

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support our community during extreme weather events. As a Telecross Caller, you will play a vital role in ensuring vulnerable individuals feel connected and supported.

The Role:
  • Commit to at least 3 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday, during activation periods
  • Have access to a computer, mobile phone, and internet connection
  • Be available during extreme weather conditions
About the Program:

Telecross provides wellbeing phone calls to people at risk due to extreme weather events. Trained volunteers use a script to assess client well-being and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:
  • Undertake a National Police Check, organised by authorities
  • Hold or apply for a Working With Children Check, with assistance if needed
