We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consumer Relations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the consumer experience by promoting a culture of patient-centred care and meaningful consumer, carer and community participation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the organisation to learn and grow from individual feedback that we receive. This includes the effective management of formal and informal feedback to achieve appropriate, high quality and timely responses and resultant outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing complaints: Using a patient-centred approach, you will assess individual complaints and accurately represent the complainant's issues in preparation for investigation.">
  • Communicating with stakeholders: You will demonstrate expert communication skills within the Patient Experience Office and with external agencies.">
  • Engaging with consumers: You will engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships.">

  • Clinical background: A clinical background is highly desirable.">
  • Effective communication skills: Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.">
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and reasoning skills.">
  • Understanding of healthcare systems: A high level of understanding of healthcare systems and their potential impacts on consumers.">
