The Consumer Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for coordinating consumer participation across the organisation. The role will prioritise the setup and maintenance of structures and processes to facilitate partnerships between staff and consumers, and ensuring they are supported in developing meaningful engagement activities.

The position will also take a lead role in ensuring Western Health's consumer engagement activities to meet the Partnering with Consumers Standard of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

The role is incorporated into the Diversity and Inclusion unit, which lies within the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate. It provides organisational leadership to embed consumer engagement through a diversity, equity and inclusion lens, within the day-to-day services and culture of Western Health.
