A dedicated member from the NSW Government - Department of Regional NSW will connect with each individual, discussing their concerns, questions, and needs, and connecting them with relevant people and services to ensure a smooth transition into the community.
As part of Southern NSW Local Health District, we serve a large area covering the southern half of NSW, surrounding the ACT on three sides and extending to the Victorian border. Our hospitals cater to over 200,000 people, and our staff are integral members of our local communities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide administrative support to the manager and team, facilitating the efficient operation of various settings within the administration unit.
- Make informed decisions about work priorities and achieve key tasks effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, ensuring attention to detail when writing and excellent listening skills when interacting with managers, colleagues, and the public.
- Understand and commit to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Demonstrate initiative in adhering to established work procedures and work under broad supervision.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of health and medical terminology.
