About the Role

As a highly skilled Administrative Operations Manager at Deakin University, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the School's priorities are achieved. This includes coordinating domestic and international student selection for our courses, providing accurate and timely advice and support to prospective and current students and staff.

We offer a hybrid working model, with a combination of on-campus and remote work arrangements. Details will be negotiated according to your circumstances and the needs of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Coordinate the domestic and international selection of our courses using multiple systems, such as VTAC, GEMSAS, Callista, and StudyLink, to assess and process applications and coordinate selection interviews.
  • Collaborate with relevant School and University teams to coordinate webinars and awards processes.
  • Manage clinical placements for our courses, including data, agreements, and compliance requirements, ensuring all placements meet regulatory standards.
  • Oversee student data management, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate at all times.
  • Foster productive relationships with diverse stakeholders and maintain positive relationships.
  • Present information clearly, concisely, and tailored to key messages.

To Be Successful, You'll Have:

  • Completion of a degree or equivalent relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments, handling face-to-face, phone, and written issues.
  • Experience providing services and support in a large organisation.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
