Position Summary

The Account Manager role involves maintaining and growing client relationships, ensuring their needs are met from project initiation to completion. This position will focus on developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers in the siding and roofing market. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of construction materials, project timelines, and client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product recommendations to clients.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and key decision-makers.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (estimating, scheduling, service, operations) to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively to maintain satisfaction and trust.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively communicate updates to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project details.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies, errors, or omissions in take-offs, orders, and specifications.
  • Experience in account management, sales, or customer service within the construction industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Knowledge of siding and roofing products, installation methods, and construction processes preferred.
