This is a sales hunter role that will be building sales pipeline, driving new customer growth by identifying shippers to trust our organization with their freight. As an end to end logistics solution provider, this 3PL has provided value to commercial shippers for 10+ years in the freight brokerage industry. Through providing full operational and accounting support, the goal is to put you in a position to continually:

  • (A) Hunt - cultivate your sales pipeline for new customers
  • (B) Grow - drive account strategy with the operations support roles for existing customers.

About the Role: Collaborate with the organizational leadership on growth-based sales strategies that achieve revenue and profit targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Use independent judgement and discretion to determine which shippers have revenue generating opportunities, doing so in a way that achieves profit targets. Effectively identify decision-makers and establish/maintain relationships with your customers that result in sustainable relationships focused on delivering value. Work internally with operations teams to strategize and respond to RFP/RFQs. Work together with Account Coordinators and Carrier Sales to provide excellent customer service and prompt issue resolution. Utilize the CRM to manage the entire all stages of the sales pipeline and the associated leading indicator metrics that result in hitting revenue and profit targets. Travel to customer and/or prospective client sites (as needed) to facilitate sustainable relationships within the customers and market. Maintain awareness of customer trends, industry trends, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years freight broker or logistics sales experience required.
  • Comfortable prospecting on phone, email, and other means.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, expertise with MS Excel.

Pay range and compensation package: Competitive base pay and uncapped commissions. PTO and paid holidays. Competitive benefits packages include Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k. Casual dress code.
