
Strategic Partnership Development Lead

The Networks & Partnerships Manager role is a newly created position in the Partnerships and External Engagement team. The role will contribute to the development and implementation of a UNSW partnership framework and partnership networks in the Societal Impact Equity and Engagement Team.
- Manage internal stakeholders and support strategic initiatives
- Support the Director, External Engagement and Partnerships in the implementation of a new Partnership Program and other strategic initiatives and activities
- Lead the development of content to build academic capabilities to manage partnerships and engage for greater impact
- Develop and utilise databases and systems to support external stakeholder relationship management
- Develop and deliver high-quality communications materials for external partners and internal stakeholders
- Manage relationships with partners across industry, government and community
- Manage and coordinate priority partner projects
- Lead the establishment and coordination of cross-university networks to enhance collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strengthen cross faculty and divisional engagement
- Plan and execute engagement activities such as events, meetings and stakeholder management
- Identify and assess opportunities to amplify our excellence and build our networks
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Extensive experience in project management, strategic thinking, and driving initiatives to completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to produce effective briefings and presentations using Powerpoint and other tools
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation
- Experience in coordinating events and meetings
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide effective customer service and support to stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a highly adaptable and consultative manner to deliver the best outcomes
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
