Regional Education Lead

We are seeking an educator with solid experience in program development and relationship building. The Regional Education Lead will be responsible for leading the creation and delivery of high-quality educational programs and activities targeting regional audiences, particularly those of early years students, teachers, and families.

The role requires ensuring that programs adhere to appropriate pedagogies, meet the needs of the target audience, and maximize opportunities to showcase Australia's Museum and community knowledge.

This is a key leadership position for educational outreach within the Education branch.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs and activities for regional audiences.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders to develop and build capacity for NSW communities.
  • Ensure programs adhere to appropriate pedagogies and meet the needs of the target audience.
  • Showcase AM and community knowledge through education programs and activities.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary level qualification or demonstrable equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in education program development and delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a cultural institution environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social impact measurement.
