We're thrilled to announce that our RAC Operations team is expanding, offering 4 exciting career opportunities to join a newly established team of Regional Workplace Educators. This is a unique chance to blend your passion for education with your people leadership skills and experience, into a dynamic role that supports multiple RAC homes within a dedicated region.
Reporting to the Senior Residential Operations Manager you will lead a team of Workplace Educators and manage the delivery of educational programs and initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills and performance within residential aged care (RAC). In this mobile position, you will travel to your homes on a regular and as needed basis managing requirements and may be based in one of our 4 Training Hubs. *Northern, Western & Southern Regions include Regional Homes.
Your exceptional communication skills, coupled with your ability to effectively engage with your team and key stakeholders alike, will be pivotal in identifying gaps, driving measurable outcomes, and supporting the standardisation of training across RAC homes. A curious mindset, enthusiastic approach, and proven ability to manage change will be critical to your success in this role.
** Within this role you'll be responsible for**:

- Developing and implementing annual and ad-hoc training plans to address key development areas, compliance, and organisational goals
- Ensuring all training initiatives align across the Regions, the organisations values, safety and aged care standards, and legislative requirements
- Managing education training spend within the approved budget
- Conducting education and training needs analysis and developing learning plans to address any identified gaps
- Attending a monthly meeting at Macquarie Park and a variety of other meetings including PCI
- Overseeing the coordination, delivery and completion of new employee induction and onboarding
- Leading and developing a team of dedicated Workplace Educators ensuring an engaged, cohesive and proactive team
- Providing regular coaching and feedback for all employees, including defining KPIs, conducting both informal and formal performance reviews, and coaching to correct performance or behaviours

The ideal applicant has a high level of intuition, with excellent organisation skills and understands the importance of following up. Additionally, to be successful in this role you'll have;
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of professionals - essential
- Completion of Adult Training Education qualifications (e.g. Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment or higher qualification)
- Demonstrated experience in delivering education and training programs, utilising adult learning principles, in a broad range of topics
- Solid experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and converting to a Learning Plan
- Competent using computer systems, including the full Microsoft Suite
- Good understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Clinical knowledge and understanding of the ageing process, particularly age-related health issues (an advantage)
- Ability to be able to travel including current driver's license - km's reimbursed
