
Regional Business Development Specialist

This role is focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including veterinarians, vet nurses, store managers, and wholesalers.
- Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and training to customers, ensuring they understand and can communicate the benefits of our products. You will also utilize customer insights and data to tailor your approach and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Present and promote products through corporate sales presentations, customer visits, and industry events.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, including pricing queries, compliance issues, and product complaint investigations.
- Collaborate with internal teams across sales, marketing, and technical services to support customer needs and business success.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge to remain competitive and provide informed recommendations to customers.
Requirements:
- A tertiary degree in business or science (preferred).
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within sales or account management.
- The ability to build and nurture strong relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive customer engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using digital tools such as an iPad.
- High level of resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, ensuring timely responses to customer needs.
