Seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Officer to join our property operations and community land management team. This is a part-time, 12-month temporary assignment based on site, offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to property management and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage leases, licenses, and tenancy agreements for Council buildings and land
  • Coordinate property maintenance contracts, including cleaning, HVAC, and pest control services
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and legislative requirements for tenanted buildings
  • Maintain lease registers and support strategic property decisions, including acquisitions and disposals
  • Assist with road closures, encroachments, and community/commercial leases and licenses

Requirements:

  • Experience in Council or State Government is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of property legislation and asset management practices
  • Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficient in maintaining property databases and documentation
  • Motivated, organised, and able to work independently within a team
