Property Management Specialist

Housing Choices Australia is a leading national not-for-profit housing provider.

We are seeking a Property Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialist expertise in property maintenance, managing a dedicated portfolio of properties owned by Housing Choices and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scoping and contractor briefing for maintenance works
  • Schedule and manage maintenance activities, including property maintenance, facility management, common areas maintenance, and essential services maintenance
  • Evaluate quotes and tenders for major maintenance and upgrade works
  • Deliver responsive maintenance services to tenants and communities through effective communication and customer service
  • Effectively deal with customer requests, needs, and requirements, and proactively receive and act on feedback and complaints

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in the building trade or demonstrated experience in property repair coordination and contractor management
  • Working knowledge of home maintenance services
  • Knowledge and experience in scoping building and maintenance works, quoting, and cost management
  • Sound knowledge and experience of Work Health and Safety as it applies to the residential building and property maintenance industry
  • Competency with using databases and Microsoft programs, particularly Excel and Word
