Job Title: Regional Development Coordinator

The role of Regional Development Coordinator is a key position within the Regional Development Victoria group. This team works collaboratively with businesses, communities and government to drive economic growth, create jobs and build resilience in regional areas.

This coordinator will be responsible for managing administrative systems and office functions across the Grampians region. The successful applicant will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present, persuade and motivate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist support expertise to the Regional Director by screening sensitive issues, preparing briefings, reports and policy advice, coordinating projects and liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Support the region's business operations and administrative systems, including coordination of ministerial briefings, executive reporting and human resources management.
  • Resolve operational service delivery problems consistent with program objectives, increasing efficiency and assisting in determining priorities.
  • Coordinate projects of defined scope and proactively support project working groups by assisting with progress reporting and monitoring action items.

About the Team

The Regional Development Coordinator will work closely with the Grampians Region branch, which sits within the Regional Development Victoria group. This department prioritizes creating and maintaining a safe organization for children, with a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse.
