Grampians Health seeks an experienced professional to develop and manage fundraising events across the region. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication expertise, and experience in event management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for instigating, delivering, and stewarding a program of internally generated and community-developed fundraising events. This will involve collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, volunteers, and community groups to develop and execute events that support projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, generate, manage, and run events (this will involve work outside of normal working hours)
  • Oversight and support for volunteers operating the Volunteer Shop
  • Develop relationships with service organisations across Ballarat and the Grampians region, and target appropriate projects to these organisations for support
  • Maintain and grow relationships with the fundraising team throughout regional campuses, and externally with current and future donors and sponsors

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications or equivalent experience in events, fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring a range of events and activities concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience in engagement with regional areas or other similar regional experience desirable
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships
