We are seeking a highly skilled Orientation and Mobility Specialist to join our team in Dubbo, providing O&M services to support individuals with vision impairment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored programs for clients.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Plan and deliver instructional client-centered Orientation and Mobility programs.
- Train clients in orientation and mobility techniques across various environments.
- Tertiary qualification in Orientation & Mobility and current completion of COMS.
- Able to travel regularly by car and domestic flight for overnight stays.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and skills in analysis, planning, and problem-solving.
- Sound skills in utilizing computer applications and modern technology.
