Support Worker Job Description

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to provide daily living support and promote autonomy in shared living environments.

  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with manual handling and use of aids
  • Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
  • Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have experience supporting high-needs disability clients, confidence in manual handling and use of aids, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. They will also be flexible and able to work varied shifts and rostered work. Basic Microsoft Office skills and a current Driver's Licence are also required.
