Highways Infrastructure Specialist

As a highways engineer, you will shape the world through innovative infrastructure solutions.
Our team requires expertise to design and deliver complex road and transport projects. You will lead small to medium-sized highways and major infrastructure projects, ensuring client engagement, coordination, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and cost management to meet deadlines and financial targets.
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers and participate in setting project parameters.
- Deliver design outputs, taking responsibility for specific project areas and ensuring high standards of work.
- Represent the team in internal meetings and contribute to team development through mentoring and event coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Civil or Highways Engineering (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience in road and infrastructure design within a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, design codes, and OH&S procedures.
- Membership or progress toward membership of a relevant professional institution.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- A proactive, resilient mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality work and supporting team success under pressure.
