Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Road Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing roads and highways, with a strong understanding of Austroads Guide to Road Design and local authority CADD standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design component of projects within agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Lead a road design project team, including coaching and development of capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Arcadis design standards and national design standards.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
Requirements:
  • A suitable degree or qualification relevant to Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads is essential.
  • Significant years of experience in a project delivery environment with demonstrated participation in the delivery of major road infrastructure projects, particularly roads and highways design.
  • Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design is essential.
