About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinical psychologist or registered psychologist with a strong background in mental health services to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Adviser. This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise and leadership skills to ensure the effective delivery of mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of mental health professionals to provide high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
  • Provide strategic advice on mental health research and policy to inform our service delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive change and innovation in mental health services.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA or unrestricted registration as a psychologist with AHPRA with additional relevant experience and training.
  • Significant clinical experience across health areas of specific interest to DVA (e.g., general mental health, trauma, drug and alcohol).
  • Recent independent clinical practice in a relevant field.
