About the Role

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Allied Health Professionals in providing high-quality care to consumers living with dementia who experience associated behavioural and psychological symptoms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultancy and peer support on complex cases
  • Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services provided by the allied health team and implementing service change and development accordingly
  • Initiating and leading quality and service improvement activities, which may include research activities where appropriate
  • Maintain adequate and meaningful records and statistics and preparation of appropriate reports to management to monitor and maximise resource utilisation
  • Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations

Requirements

  • Demonstrated skills in communication, liaison, administration and teamwork
  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role
  • Clinical experience as a senior allied health practitioner
  • Allied Health qualification (Bachelor or above) from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency for relevant professions or eligibility for membership with relevant professional association where appropriate
