Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Manager to join our planning and warehousing team at our Braeside facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth supply and flow of inventory within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Receipts:
  • Ensure all incoming stock meets quality standards and is accurately recorded in the system.
  • Dispatch and Stock Transfers:
  • Pack goods correctly for safe movement and delivery both internally and externally.
  • Record transactions in the system.
  • Storing Goods and Accuracy:
  • Ensure accurate storage of inventory maintaining quality standards through batch rotation, allergen control, etc.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records to avoid shortages and fulfillment delays.
  • Calling off inventory from Procurement and Storage Warehouses.
  • Stocktakes and Counts:
  • Assist with the completion of stocktakes and stock counts.
  • Posting stocktakes and stock counts in the system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience managing inventory.
  • Experience using ERPs with SAP highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage working relationships across production, planning, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong administration and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • A team player.
