Job Description

We are seeking an experienced inventory management professional to join our product team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the optimization and management of our inventory operations, leading vendor inventory initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to forecast future demand, incorporating promotions and new launches.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, monitor stock turnover, and implement inventory control systems to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Supply Planning: Generate and review purchase orders regularly, coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and quantities, and adapt plans to any supply disruptions.
  • Procurement Coordination: Work with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve supply challenges.
  • System & Data Management: Manage inventory systems (ERP), update product data, and develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor inventory performance.
