We're seeking an experienced Retail Inventory Coordinator to join our Loss Prevention team and play a pivotal role in executing our stocktake strategy across our retail network and 3PL warehouse.

About the Role

This role will provide key support to the Regional Loss Prevention team by managing all aspects of inventory integrity, delivering accurate reporting, and offering tactical support to minimise stock loss and drive operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage regular stock counts across stores and 3PL warehouse

Reconcile physical inventory with system records and post final stocktake results

Investigate discrepancies in inventory records, liaising with internal teams as needed

Manage and distribute unreceived transfer reports weekly to the retail teams

Liaise with Retail Leadership to maintain and adjust the national stocktake schedule

Support scheduling and reporting for store openings, closures, and ad hoc stocktakes

Deliver comprehensive reporting on shrinkage and inventory movements

Develop and facilitate training sessions on stocktake processes for key stakeholders

Analyse stocktake data, highlight trends and risks, and recommend action plans

Support ongoing development of internal documentation and process improvements

Partner with Area and State Managers to implement strategies addressing operational risks

Conduct audits, review transfer errors, and make necessary stock adjustments

This is an onsite position

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in retail inventory management, stocktake processes, and reconciliation

Strong numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail

Confident communicator with the ability to influence and support key stakeholders

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Experience with inventory systems such as Dynamics 365 and BI reporting tools (desirable)

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Business Management or a related field (desirable)
