Professional Wedding Coordinator

As a key member of our weddings team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every detail of our couples' tailored weddings is meticulously planned and coordinated.

This role plays an integral part in making their vision for their special day a reality, from menu planning to theming, audio visual and entertainment, as well as the organisation of accompanying accommodation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with site inspections, proposals and coordinate the end-to-end planning of weddings in the resort;
  • Oversee operational delivery and work closely with the banquet operations team post-handover to ensure all weddings come to life seamlessly;
  • Plan and conduct pre-event daily de-briefs and post-event meetings with clients, with a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and demonstrate awareness of OH&S policies and procedures;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Hospitality or event tertiary qualification preferred;
  • Minimum two years' experience in an event planning capacity, with proven ability across all aspects of wedding and event planning, including sales element;
  • A proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders;
  • Flexible to regularly work weekends and evenings as required;
  • Neat personal presentation;
