About the role...
We are looking for an experienced Wedding & Events Sales Executive to fit in with our busy team.
The successful applicant will look after both Conferences and Weddings. You must displaya positive attitude and "can do" mindset with excellent attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
You will take full ownership of weddings from handling the initial sales enquiry to preparing proposals, event orders and contracts. You will also look at the coordination of corporate events and meetings.
You will be required to keep all systems and reporting records up to date, conduct hotel site inspections and confidently liaise with all hotel departments amongst other day to day duties. You may be required to work on Saturdays to conduct Weddings site inspections and host weddings.
Skills & Experience
Previous event co-ordination experience including use of Opera and Ivvy Sales and Catering system (or similar)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Highly organised with excellent time management
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
