Role Description

We are seeking an innovative and experienced professional to work as part of a team delivering individual and group treatment, care coordination, and wrap-around support to individuals and families affected by AOD issues. The primary focus is to assist individuals and families dealing with AOD-related challenges and address their impact on relationships.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Deliver individual (counselling, case management, information, and referral) and group support within the Program guidelines.">
  • Provide specialised support to those people and communities affected by another's alcohol and other drug use.">
  • Work in collaboration with clients, families, and teams to achieve positive outcomes.">
  • Assess client support needs through comprehensive assessment and ongoing evaluation.">
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans that meet client goals.">
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.">

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

">
  • ">
  • Relevant VET or tertiary qualification in a relevant field.">
  • Significant experience supporting persons with AOD support needs, mental health support needs, and/or co-existing support needs.">
  • Experience in group facilitation, program delivery, and working in team environments.">
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and Client Management Systems.">
  • Current NSW Driver's License and Working With Children clearance for paid employment.">
  • Unlimited right to live and work in Australia and COVID Vaccination.">
