About the Role

Curtin University is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Accommodation Coach to join our team. As an Accommodation Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting students in securing safe, affordable, and comfortable accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized guidance and develop tailored action plans to help students find suitable accommodation.
  • Discuss budgets and cost of living, offering realistic feedback to assist students in making informed decisions.
  • Triage and respond to accommodation requests through various channels, including in-person, email, and online chat.
  • Collaborate with other University support services to assist students in crisis situations, helping to arrange short-term accommodation when necessary.
  • Liaise with external accommodation providers to research and track available options.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions with students.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the student experience, with a focus on fostering a strong, supportive, and inclusive community.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both in-person and online.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in accommodation, student housing, or any relevant field.
