Customer Engagement Manager

We are seeking a Customer Engagement Manager who will be responsible for relationship management across a defined list of key customers and to support the acquisition of new customers.

About This Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a hybrid working model, based in our Melbourne or Brisbane office, but other locations are also possible.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Have a clear understanding of the company value proposition, products/services and be able to present this to customers directly and via participation at sector events.
  2. Handle inbound leads effectively and customer enquiries, resulting proposals, contract renewals and variations.
  3. Establish strong relationships with key staff in each of your customers.
  4. Develop an account plan and opportunity view for each customer, mapping products across the customer environment and planning appropriate engagement activities.
  5. Act as a point of escalation contact for the customer in relation to contractual performance of obligations.
  6. Capture customer 'stories of impact' that reflect our value proposition.
  7. Contribute to product strategy as the voice of the customer.
Requirements
  • Possess a passionate commitment to the development of the not-for-profit sector including an understanding of technology as a driver in sector capacity development and alignment to the company's vision, mission and values.
  • Have experience working with technology-based product and service teams including business development, execution of sales, account management and customer retention strategies in a rapidly growing, fast paced and customer driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends to position products and services effectively with customers.
  • Strong stakeholder and account management skills, with a proven ability to work with internal teams to manage customer relationships.
  • Knowledge and experience working with customers and partners across the not for profit, government, corporate and academic sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing/ negotiation skills.
