About the Role

The Department of Home Affairs is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Executive Assistants. As an Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support to senior executives and contribute to the delivery of key projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to senior executives, including diary management, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage and coordinate meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the executive team, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
About You

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have a strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

As an Executive Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of key projects and initiatives. You will be supported in your role and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Eligibility and Conditions of Employment

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and meet the Department's minimum requirements. You will also be required to obtain and maintain a current Employment Suitability Clearance and undergo a health assessment (if applicable).
