Executive Officer Population Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Executive Officer to join our Population Health team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level administrative, strategic, and operational support to the National Manager Population Health & Wellbeing and team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic and operational initiatives, projects, and organisational priorities.
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic, collaborative, and consistent best-practice approaches across the portfolio.
- Create, review, and refine various communications (reports, submissions, presentations) aligned with Heart Foundation policies and strategy.
- Support the coordination and preparation of internal/external meetings, representing the Heart Foundation when needed.
- Contribute to the development of Heart Foundation policy and advocacy from both a national and local perspective.
- Assist in planning and executing events, including preparing presentations and speeches or managing event logistics.
- Support operational and administrative functions within the Northern Territory office.
- Monitor and track budget expenditures for the Population Health & Wellbeing portfolio, ensuring accountability through regular updates and reports.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration across all organisational levels.
- A background in fields such as public health, social services, business management, advocacy, or public relations.
- Proven skills in administration, project management, and time management.
- Ability to build trust and positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Understanding of cardiovascular health and related social, economic, and political factors.
- Sound judgement and agility in solving complex, strategic challenges.
