Curriculum Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive curriculum innovation and pedagogical excellence across our network of small, community-focused schools in Queensland's Cassowary Coast region.

About The Role

The successful candidate will oversee a cluster of schools, including Feluga State School, El Arish State School, Lower Tully State School, Murray River Upper State School, and Cardwell State School.

  • Collaborate with other HOD-Cs in the bigger cluster school
  • Travel to 5 SL1/SL2 schools in the Ulysses Cluster
  • Participate in a HOD-C Pilot Program with a network of HOD-C's across Queensland
Key Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of a cohesive, high-impact curriculum across Prep to Year 12 within the Ulysses Cluster, ensuring alignment with the Australian Curriculum and local context.

Build capacity in teachers and leaders through collaborative planning, classroom observation, data analysis, and targeted professional learning.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven leadership in curriculum design, implementation, and review
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and data-driven instructional improvement
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
