Engineering Governance Lifecycles Manager

Embark on a pivotal role that ensures world-class engineering capabilities, leveraging innovative and emerging technology to support customers and drive business strategy.

This critical position involves embedding consistent, efficient, and compliant engineering practices across the organization, aligning with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing end-to-end lifecycle of engineering standards, encompassing documentation, communication, and technical enforcement.
  • Collaborating with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams to implement and elevate engineering standards and frameworks.
  • Operating and evolving central repositories for standards, approved technologies, and related documentation.
  • Coordinating regular content for communications channels to ensure standards and changes are visible and understood throughout the organization.
  • Supporting technology radar and RFC processes, enabling engineers to propose, review, and adopt new technologies and practices.
  • Tracking adoption and effectiveness of standards, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhanced assurance.
  • Providing technical guidance in engineering governance activities, particularly around process lifecycle management and integration with existing systems and processes.
Requirements

A strong technology background with an understanding of engineering principles, standards, and best practices is essential. Proactivity, a detail-oriented mindset, and ability to take ownership of initiatives from conception to operationalization and iteration are key.

Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and be a strong advocate for driving change is required. Ability to work as an individual contributor, and in a multi-stakeholder environment on large initiatives with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with Agile ways of working, including tooling such as Jira and Confluence, is desirable. Demonstrated risk and cost management mindset is necessary.
