Job Description
This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient delivery of projects across multiple sites. As a Delivery and Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a key part in driving operational efficiency, commercial acumen, and team alignment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operational activities to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Promote compliance with financial, quality, and WHS targets.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, and Site Supervisors to drive outcomes.
  • Lead resource allocation and recruitment for site-based personnel.
  • Review scopes, pricing strategies, and methodologies to support estimating processes.
  • Manage contracts, variations, claims, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project performance and budget adherence through accurate reporting.
  • E nsure adherence to ISO-aligned management systems.
  • Provide guidance on project start-ups, procurement, and documentation processes.
  • Drive process improvements, systems efficiency, and team communication.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, commercial, or project delivery roles within the civil or construction industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, variations, and risk.
  • Proven ability to support estimating processes, including reviewing scopes, pricing, and methodologies.
  • Background in remedial, civil, or other high-compliance construction environments is highly regarded.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
  • White Card and valid Driver's License required; prior experience with civil or remedial projects is a plus.
