Operational Excellence Specialist

This role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the Council's parks and open space assets. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be part of a team that delivers planned and reactive maintenance services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work plans to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and report any variations in work requests or programs to the Team Leader.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance service delivery, safety, and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational staff on site to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business unit goals and Council priorities.

Requirements
  • Minimum Cert III in Parks & Gardens, Horticulture, or Landscape.
  • Relevant experience in the field.
  • A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card).
  • Current Driver's Licence Class C.
  • Current MR Licence as required.
  • Current 'Chem Use' accreditation OR willingness to obtain during probation period.
