Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Sales Professional to join our team at The Missing Link, a highly respected and award-winning IT company in Australia.

We are looking for a skilled sales professional with a passion for generating new business opportunities and a drive to succeed in a dynamic sales environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new clients, creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline, and regularly tracking progress towards meeting activity metrics and sales goals.

You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate outreach for new programs, messaging, campaigns, and offerings. A strong understanding of sales principles and techniques is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of sales prospecting experience and a proven track record of success in initiating conversations, uncovering basic needs, and connecting needs to high-level IT services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule highly qualified meetings from inbound and outbound campaigns within target accounts.
  • Leverage various prospecting tools and outreach techniques to identify and qualify new clients.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate outreach for new programs, messaging, campaigns, and offerings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales prospecting experience through social media, cold callings, and emails.
  • Core sales skills related to initiating conversations, uncovering basic needs, connecting needs to high-level IT services and solutions, and driving interest in continued discussion with sales team members.
  • Previous experience with an IT Systems Integrator, MSP or vendor is highly desirable.
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • A desire to learn and grow in IT sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
