About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Event Sales Coordinator to join our professional team. This role will be responsible for securing, planning, and coordinating events across two locations.

  • This includes conferences, seminars, and weddings for corporate, University, and private clients.

The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, meet daily deadlines, and work flexibly to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Event Sales Coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Handling all event inquiries and sales leads, including conducting site inspections, preparing detailed proposals with quotes, and liaising directly with clients.
  2. Organizing events from start to finish, including working closely with operational teams at both venues.
  3. Coordinating with external suppliers and attending regular operations meetings.
  4. Assisting the accounts section with financial tasks, including preparing pro-forma invoices, checking supplier invoices, and helping with payments.
  5. Liaising with other departments to ensure all aspects of events are covered.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated customer-oriented focus with a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Well-developed computer skills, with proven experience using event management software.
