Event Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Event Coordinator to support the events team in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing various events, including conferences, weddings, and corporate functions. This will involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute events, including set up, during the event, and break down.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including kitchen, restaurant, and events staff.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality.
  • Ensure all events are executed within budget and to a high standard.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics.
  • Anticipate and solve problems that may arise during events.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in event coordination and execution.
  • Current RSA certification.
  • Well-developed supervisory and leadership skills.
