**Job Overview:**

This role involves the installation and configuration of software, hardware, and equipment. You will also be responsible for testing specific versions of one or more products and building, documenting, and implementing technical solutions within best practice frameworks.

**Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Applying appropriate design standards, methods, and tools consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Supporting the assessment, analysis, development, documentation, and implementation planning of changes, including the evaluation of risks to infrastructure components in proposed implementations.
  • Participating in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.
  • Performing administrative functions and other duties as directed by the supervisor.

**Requirements for Success:**

  • Ability to learn eHealth Queensland's ITIL Service Management processes, primarily incident / problem / change / configuration management.
  • High level understanding and technical skills in one or more of the following areas:
    • Windows operating systems
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
    • Directory Services (Microsoft Active Directory)
    • Active Directory Group Policy administration and configuration
    • Enterprise printing solutions
  • Demonstrated high level technical expertise evidenced by the ability to provide professional support, advice, and solutions.
  • Well developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
