Senior Technical Sales Specialist role at INTEC Energy Solutions in Brisbane. This position bridges commercial and technical functions to support the full lifecycle of sales activities related to renewable energy and energy storage projects (including solar PV, BESS, and hybrid systems). You will provide pre-sales consultation, develop tailored technical solutions, engage with global suppliers, and work closely with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities- Identify and develop technical sales opportunities in renewable energy and energy storage (solar, BESS, hybrid systems).
- Conduct client consultations and propose fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Prepare technical sales proposals, tenders, and quotations.
- Specify and source components including batteries, inverters, PCS, and BMS.
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, lead times, and compliance.
- Support project handover and execution in alignment with client expectations.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, Commerce, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial engineering in the industrial or renewable energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of energy systems and industrial products such as BESS, PV, or hybrid systems.
- Strong understanding of international standards and certifications (IEC, UL, ISO).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and negotiations.
- Multilingual capabilities (e.g. Mandarin or Spanish) are desirable.
