A highly regarded accounting firm in Somerton Park seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to collaborate directly with clients. This is an excellent chance to join a successful and dynamic team, offering a wide range of expertise in business advice, taxation matters, self-managed super funds, and wealth creation.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for providing bookkeeping services to multiple clients, including training on new systems and processes, setting up new accounting files, and completion of bank reconciliations and BAS / IAS statements.
  • Ongoing day-to-day bookkeeping for existing clients, payroll processing and reconciliation, managing creditors and debtor invoicing, and reporting requirements based on individual client needs.

About You

  • Previous experience providing bookkeeping services to multiple clients.
  • Sound knowledge of a wide range of accounting software programs, including MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks.
  • Xero advisor and MYOB-certified.
  • Ability to work autonomously, multitask, and prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent people skills, communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
