Job Description

As an Accounting Operations Specialist with our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations within our organization. This includes coordinating and executing weekly payroll, completing comprehensive financial compliance tasks, and maintaining integrity of accounting records.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Management: Coordinate and execute weekly payroll, including responsibility for all pay-related queries and payroll compliance.
  • Financial Compliance: Complete comprehensive financial compliance tasks, including BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Workcover reconciliations.
  • Accounting Procedures: Coordinate end-of-month accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy through reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Cash Management: Maintain integrity of accounting records, including Cash Accounts reconciliation and Fixed Asset Register management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma of Accounting or equivalent, along with membership in a recognized Accounting body.
  • Familiarity with MYOB Advanced or other ERP systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of administrative functions and accounting support.
  • Proven experience supporting Finance Managers or higher.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and ATO compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in IT and systems, particularly Excel and Word.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

This salary estimate is based on industry standards for similar roles in Adelaide, South Australia.
