Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating funeral arrangements with families, taking into account their specific needs and preferences
  • Working with various suppliers to ensure the funeral ceremony runs smoothly
  • Building rapport and trust with families, often during their most vulnerable moments
  • Actively listening to families, providing them with the time and space to share their grief
  • Recommending service options based on families' needs and preferences
  • Beginning the arrangement process and handing over families to their assigned arranger
  • Following up with families who've shown interest but are not yet ready to decide

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A genuine love of talking to and helping people from all walks of life
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Comfort working with technology and following processes
  • Quick learning skills, with the ability to adapt to new processes and tools
  • The ability to take control of conversations and become a trusted advisor for families
  • Comfort actively recommending our company and services, where appropriate
