We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our catering team and assist with food preparation, management and presentation. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Your new office will be a state-of-the-art kitchen, equipped with modern appliances and equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of chefs and caterers, and contribute to the success of our events and conferences.
About the Role- You will lead daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, stock management and ordering.
- You will work collaboratively with the Catering Manager to plan and deliver high-quality meals for our guests.
- You will ensure that all food safety standards are met, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
- You will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
- You will have trade qualifications in commercial cookery and/or catering, or equivalent experience.
- You will have proven experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- You will have strong leadership, teamwork and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You will have a valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one.
