Job Title: BMS Service Technician

Schneider Electric is transforming customer support to optimize energy efficiency by hiring a Building Management System (BMS) Service Technician. This role will report directly to the Service Delivery Manager and serve as a technical partner to a diverse customer base, including commercial properties, universities, and healthcare facilities.

The Day-to-Day:

This position involves working on installations, service, and maintenance of building management and control systems. Responsibilities include managing breakdowns and maintenance of BMS, demonstrating knowledge of products to suggest improvements, ensuring excellent service delivery within budget and time constraints, practicing safety awareness, and participating in on-call duties.

Requirements:

This role requires someone who is passionate about technology, excels in problem-solving, and is focused, collaborative, and innovative. The ideal candidate has technical skills in electrical or mechanical HVAC, instrumentation, or controls, with knowledge of BMS and a passion for finding energy efficiency solutions.

The successful candidate will also be IT proficient, have experience with fault-finding, and knowledge of network routers, switches, and hardware. Additionally, they will have a passion for working customized software solutions and products to enhance customer service for mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.

As a motivated and confident individual, the candidate will work autonomously or as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and follow through to completion. Excellent communication skills are essential for building great relationships and being comfortable in a customer-facing role.
