About the Role

As a Pension Fund Administrator Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining member/employer/adviser account details and processing a range of superannuation administration functions for members/employers and advisers of various superannuation schemes administered by AU040 Mercer Administration Services (Australia) Pty Ltd. You will ensure responsive, accurate and timely information is provided to members/employers/advisers regarding superannuation accounts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing member/employer or adviser transactions across multiple functions either manually, electronically or SuperStream.
  • Accurately maintaining member/employer/adviser account details within AU040 Mercer Administration Services (Australia) Pty Ltd.'s current operating systems in accordance with specific scheme legislation, fund rules and business processes.
  • Conducting thorough investigation to resolve exceptions and gathering information to assist with the management of escalations, incidents and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Initiating and acting as a point of contact with both internal and external stakeholders to verify/confirm data provided and follow-up information as required.
  • Cooperating and communicating across teams to improve outcomes for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining records systems to ensure the accurate, timely and safe storage of information.
  • Preparing written correspondence that is well-structured and easy to follow.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience working in administration.
  • A preferred knowledge and understanding of superannuation.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Ability to manage your own workload within a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including discounted insurances, Employee Assistance Program, Community Volunteer Leave, great team environment, and flexible work environment.
