Family Engagement Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Family Engagement Officer to join our team at the Department of Education Northern Territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering culturally appropriate early learning programs for remote Aboriginal families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Family Educator to design and implement early learning programs that meet the needs of remote Aboriginal families.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to inform program development and improvement.
- Work closely with the Teaching and Learning Services team to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Administrative Officer 4 experience with a focus on community engagement and program development.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education and community development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote community setting.
Remuneration Package: $84,910 - $96,806 (including salary $72,087 - $82,187)
