We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team at The Smith Family. As a key member of our Community Development team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Communities for Children program in Katherine, NT.
Key Responsibilities- Community Partner Support: Provide administrative support to project planning, record keeping, and capacity building for community partners.
- Data Coordination and Reporting: Assist in the coordination and analysis of data to support strategic planning and community partner engagement.
- Community Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and service providers to support the delivery of the program.
- CfC FP Activities: Support the development and implementation of activities and initiatives to promote the Katherine Region CfC FP program.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Social Science, Humanities, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web browsers.
- Knowledge of the child, family, and community services sector, with a strong understanding of the Katherine and Big Rivers region.
- Full current driver's license and ability to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check.
